Hello. I am Susan.
I am a creative professional who provides design services to clients in the fields of architecture, the arts, education, healthcare, and sustainability, among others. For more than twenty years, I have designed books and magazines, exhibitions and wayfinding, logos and identity systems, newsletters for print and digital.
I earned my BFA in graphic design and photography at the University of Michigan Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design where I also taught typography and two-dimensional design.
I am a one-woman design operation. Unlike agencies that separate client representatives and creative personnel, I am the one who answers your call, assesses your project needs, and delivers your final design on time and within budget.
I consider it a great gift that I do what I love and love what I do, and that I not only support my family in doing so, but my clients who make this livelihood possible.
“We were so fortunate to benefit from Susan’s immense talent on several projects, including two that she conceptualized from scratch: a digital newsletter for alumni and a Year in Review print publication for donors. For these projects and all others, she presented clean, on-brand, gorgeous designs that we loved. In addition, she is responsive, meticulous, and a genuinely delightful person to work with.”
